Facilities Manager

Role Description:

The position holder is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing the maintenance activities of the properties managed by the Company. The role also involves managing, developing, and leveraging Building Information Modeling (BIM) digital models throughout the operational and maintenance phases of the facilities, ensuring the quality, accuracy, and continuous updating of data that support asset lifecycle management.

The position holder leads the technical team within the Facility Management Department, providing professional guidance and ensuring operational continuity. They are also responsible for maintaining the proper functioning of operational infrastructure, optimizing operating and maintenance costs, and managing expenses related to property maintenance. Furthermore, they ensure compliance with employee Health and Safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implementation, and monitoring of preventive and corrective maintenance programs for the properties, including the preparation of relevant operational and capital expenditure budgets.
• Management and maintenance of BIM models, development of procedures, and implementation of BIM standards throughout the operational phase of facilities.
• Planning and supervision of minor technical projects, ensuring quality standards, cost control, and adherence to project timelines.
• Monitoring the proper functioning of facilities, managing emergency repairs, and ensuring compliance with safety requirements.
• Coordination with the Procurement Department for the sourcing of materials and services, evaluation of quotations, and selection of contractors.
• Management of technical documentation, records, and CAFM/CMMS systems, as well as preparation of reports to optimize costs, processes, and operations.
• Development of departmental procedures and identification of the team's training needs.

The Ideal Profile

• University degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• At least 6 years of experience in a similar position or engineering role, with experience in the design and implementation of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) systems.
• Experience in BIM and/or Facility Management.
• Very good knowledge of BIM software (Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, Autodesk Construction Cloud) and ERP systems.
• Knowledge of the ISO 19650 standard. Experience with CAFM, CMMS, or IWMS systems will be considered an additional asset.
• Very good command of English and excellent communication skills.
