Facilities Manager (Semiconductor)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Semiconductor or Data Center Experienced Facilities Manager to join our team in Kuala Lumpur & Senawang. As our Facilities Manager, you will oversee the efficient and effective management of our office and facilities, ensuring a safe, comfortable, and productive environment for our employees.

Key responsibilities

• Developing and implementing strategies to maintain and improve the company's facilities, including buildings, equipment, and infrastructure
• Coordinating maintenance activities, such as cleaning, repairs, and renovations, to ensure the facilities are well-maintained and meet all relevant safety and compliance standards
• Managing the procurement of equipment, supplies, and services required for the day-to-day operation of the facilities
• Overseeing the work of external contractors and service providers, ensuring they meet the company's requirements and deadlines
• Monitoring and optimising the use of energy, water, and other resources to promote sustainability and reduce costs
• Collaborating with the wider team to identify and implement improvements to the facilities, enhancing the overall work environment
• Ensuring the facilities comply with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards
• Providing regular reports and updates on the state of the facilities and any issues or projects underway

About you

• Significant experience (8+ years) in facilities management, preferably within the Engineering industry
• Strong technical knowledge and understanding of building systems, maintenance procedures, and regulatory requirements
• Excellent project management and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficient in budget management and cost control to ensure the efficient use of resources
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with various stakeholders, including employees, contractors, and service providers
• A proactive, adaptable, and solutions-oriented mindset
• Relevant qualifications or certifications in facilities management, engineering, or a related field
