Your Mission

Own the preventive and corrective care of building HVAC systems for our client. You’ll deliver reliable performance, complete clear CMMS documentation, and uphold the highest standards of safety and compliance. Expect occasional light installations alongside your maintenance workload.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Translate CMMS work orders into action: perform PMs and targeted repairs, then record every step per CMMS data collection requirements.
• Work across the mechanical spectrum—motors, engines, pumps, belts, fans, AHUs, VAVs, and fan-powered boxes.
• Keep critical systems safe: electronic/pneumatic environmental controls; oil- and gas-fired water-tube boilers; and auxiliary equipment (pumps, deaerating tanks, air compressors, blowers).
• Diagnose issues using disciplined inspection, testing, and monitoring techniques; apply safe and proper tool use at all times.
• Quickly orient to facility layouts and learn where environmental controls and monitoring systems live—and how to operate them effectively.
• Execute work in accordance with CGL Facility Management, LLC standards, OSHA regulations, and client expectations.
• Inspect completed tasks against local building and safety codes; escort subcontractors and validate their onsite work.
• Keep your workspace safe and orderly; complete all required compliance, safety, and developmental training.
• Mentor peers from adjacent trades—share fundamentals, provide oversight, and help elevate team capability.
• Pitch in on additional preventive and corrective assignments as directed by CGL Facility Management.

What You Bring

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1–3 years in commercial or residential HVAC maintenance.
• Hands-on knowledge of HVAC plus at least one trade: electrical, plumbing, carpentry, or general building maintenance.
• Fluency in reading blueprints and as-built drawings.
• Willingness to participate in occasional on-call coverage.
• Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Certifications may be required.
• Self-driven collaborator with strong communication skills and a client-focused mindset.
• Valid, in-state Driver’s License (DL NUMBER).
• EPA 608 Certification required; HVAC Certification preferred.

Driving Requirement

You will drive on Company business using either (1) a Company vehicle—potentially as infrequently as rarely or as often as constantly—or (2) a personal/rental vehicle to conduct Company business more than 50% of the time to perform work duties.
