Facilities Officer

Founded in 1887, we are a non-governmental organization committed to the development and provision of quality holistic health care service to the community of Hong Kong. Our current services include elderly service, chaplaincy ministry, outreaching rehabilitation service, an institute promoting holistic health and holistic care, etc. We have a staff team of about 250 members, and we are now looking for the following high-calibre person to join our Alice Ho Miu Ling Nethersole Nursing Home in Kowloon Bay, which is a subvented home providing 238 residential places:-

Facilities Officer (Salary range: HK$27,120-$47,950)

Key Responsibilities

The incumbent will perform a wide spectrum of duties including but not limited to the following:

• To manage daily in-house repair and maintenance work, including builder, E&M and relevant medical, laundry and kitchen facilities;
• Tžo supervise a team of maintenance staff (Technicians) to upkeep ANNH facilities in good condition with practical preventive and corrective maintenance;
• žTo prepare quotations and assist with tender document preparation;
• To assist supervising in-house renovation and improvement works;
• ž To assist major projects, e.g. renovation project under LF.

Requirements

• žDegree or diploma holder in Building Studies or Building Services/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related disciplines;

• At least 2 years’ relevant working experience in NGO/healthcare setting;

• Proficiency with computer applications such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, AutoCAD, etc;

• Good command of written English and Chinese; and

• Practical knowledge in IT management will be a definite advantage.
