Facilities Operations Manager

About the role

Manage day-to-day IFM operations for assigned camps and facilities, leading a dedicated team of FM Practitioners. This role involves preventive and corrective maintenance delivery, system health monitoring, asset management, emergency incident direction, and ensuring contractual response and recovery timelines are consistently achieved.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day IFM operations for assigned camps and facilities, leading a dedicated team of FM Practitioners.
• Lead preventive and corrective maintenance delivery, system health monitoring, and asset management.
• Direct emergency incidents, fault recovery activities, and operational continuity. Ensure contractual response and recovery timelines are consistently achieved.
• Conduct and supervise root cause investigations for system failures and operational incidents.
• Oversee asset lifecycle management, condition assessment programmes, and obsolescence management.
• Manage work proposal development and technical submissions.
• Coordinate statutory inspections and certifications, ensuring absolute compliance with statutory, quality, and safety requirements.
• Effectively manage contractors and specialist vendors.
• Support facility transition, asset handover, and mobilisation activities while maintaining high customer satisfaction and KPI performance.

About you

• Degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or Building Services.
• Minimum 5 years of IFM or facilities operations experience.
• Proven experience leading multiple stakeholders, service providers, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong track record in handling operational incidents and executing service recovery.
• Proficient in Asset Lifecycle Management, condition assessment programmes, obsolescence management, technical proposal preparation, and the management of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
