Facilities Operative

Are you looking for an exciting new opportunity to grow your skills and be part of a dynamic team? We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join us our Facilities Team to deliver a range of customer-focused facilities support and premises services.

Responsibilities:
Undertake premises audits and inspections; ensure that the hospice premises are maintained in a safe and tidy condition; assist with incoming and outgoing deliveries; undertake a range of porterage duties ensuring that specified room furniture layouts are delivered; support all retail outlets; provide a first-line access control/security presence at specified properties; co-ordinate with contractors where required; undertake health and safety duties; respond to incidents; help our group of volunteer gardeners with various jobs.

Experience Required:
Full clean UK driving licence. Experience providing facilities support. Good handyperson and maintenance experience. Communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills. Have a proactive and can-do attitude. Calm and professional demeanour. Excellent problem-solving skills.
