Facilities Supervisor

JOB SUMMARY

Microtop Philippines, Inc. is looking for a highly organized and results-driven Facilities Supervisor to oversee the daily operations, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the company's facilities. The successful candidate will ensure that all building systems, utilities, equipment, and infrastructure are maintained in a safe, efficient, and compliant condition while supporting uninterrupted manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for supervising the facilities team, coordinating preventive and corrective maintenance activities, managing contractors, and ensuring compliance with company policies and government regulations.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervise the daily operations of the Facilities Department to ensure efficient facility management and maintenance.
• Plan, implement, and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance programs for building facilities, utilities, and equipment.
• Oversee the operation and maintenance of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, compressed air systems, and other plant utilities.
• Ensure the company facilities are safe, clean, functional, and compliant with government regulations and company standards.
• Monitor facility-related repairs, renovations, and improvement projects to ensure timely completion within budget.
• Coordinate and supervise external contractors, suppliers, and service providers performing facility-related work.
• Conduct regular inspections of company buildings, production areas, offices, and utilities to identify maintenance requirements and potential safety hazards.
• Prepare maintenance schedules, work plans, and technical reports.
• Manage departmental maintenance records, equipment history, permits, and documentation.
• Monitor inventory and procurement of maintenance tools, spare parts, and consumables.
• Collaborate with Production, Engineering, QA, and other departments to support operational requirements.
• Ensure compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Standards (OSHS), PEZA, DENR, BFP, and other applicable government regulations.
• Assist in the preparation and monitoring of the department's annual maintenance budget.
• Lead, coach, and evaluate the performance of maintenance personnel and facilities staff.
• Perform other duties that may be assigned by Management.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or any related Engineering course.
• Licensed Engineer is an advantage but not required.
• At least 3–5 years of relevant experience in Facilities, Building Maintenance, or Plant Engineering, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• At least 2 years of supervisory experience leading a facilities or maintenance team.
• Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance, building systems, utilities, HVAC, electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Familiarity with Occupational Safety and Health Standards (OSHS), PEZA, DENR, BFP, and other regulatory requirements is an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and maintenance documentation.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, planning, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willing to work in Biñan City, Laguna.
