Facilities Supervisor

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Facility Supervisor to oversee the daily operations and maintenance of our facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of facilities management, ensuring that all systems function efficiently and safely. This role requires a proactive approach to maintenance management, with a focus on both high and low voltage systems, inventory management, shipping and receiving, and the mobilization and demobilization for projects.

Duties

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of production staff while working for facilities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Manage the maintenance and repair of electrical systems (including high voltage and low voltage equipment) and all associated equipment used in the field.
• Interpret schematics and technical drawings to troubleshoot issues effectively.
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify areas needing repair or improvement.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment status, and inventory management.
• Train and mentor staff on best practices in facilities operations and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations across the facility.

Requirements

• Proven experience in facilities management or a similar supervisory role.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
• Proficiency in reading schematics and technical documentation related to electrical systems.
• Knowledge of low voltage and high voltage electrical systems, including maintenance practices.
• Familiarity with logic controllers and their applications in facility operations.
• Ability to use an Ohmmeter for testing electrical circuits and components.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on preventive maintenance strategies.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with team members and other stakeholders.
