General Description:

The Facilities Support is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all members, staff, and visitors. This role includes a variety of cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure that all areas of the center are always hygienic and presentable.

Essential Job Functions:

• Performs general cleaning and janitorial duties in the common areas and personal offices in the administrative department.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum floors in all areas of the office.
• Empty trash receptacles and replace liners.
• Dust and wipe down surfaces, including tables, chairs, countertops, and ceilings. Give special attention to cleaning baseboards and all floor and ceiling corners.
• Clean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces.
• Maintains a clean and organized supply closet.
• Notifies the administrative assistant when additional supplies are needed.".
• Disinfect commonly used items like desks, door handles, office tools and phones.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
• Notify supervisors of unsafe conditions.

• Knowledge of safety hazards and proper use of various cleaning and sanitizing solutions.
• Detail-oriented and thorough.
• Ability to keep the office clean and orderly.
