Facilities Team Lead

The Motor Enclave is looking for a Facilities Team Lead to lead the facilities and security operations of our one-of-a-kind 200-acre motorsports and event campus in Tampa, Florida.

This isn't a traditional facilities job.

Our property combines private automotive garages, motorsports, hospitality, events, member amenities, and high-end guest experiences. We need a hands-on facilities leader who understands that the condition of the property is a major part of the customer experience.

As the Facilities Team Lead, you will lead our Facilities and Security teams. You'll be responsible for keeping the entire campus safe, secure, beautiful, functional, and ready for our owners, members, guests, clients, and events.

You'll have the opportunity to build systems, lead people, manage vendors, oversee projects, influence capital planning, and make a visible impact across the property.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

· You will oversee the day-to-day condition and long-term care of The Motor Enclave's buildings, grounds, infrastructure, equipment, and amenities.

· Lead theFacilities and Security teams by; setting priorities and assigning work**,** maintaining appropriate coverage**, e**stablishing accountability and performance expectations, ensuring safety and operating standards are followed

· Manage Vendors & Contractors by being the point person for a wide range of facility vendors and contractors, including maintenance, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, roofing, fire/life safety, landscaping, pest control, garage doors, and other specialized services.

· Work with leadership team on: budgets, operational forecasts, facility improvements and property planning.

· Support Our Owners & Community forfacility-related owner needs involving areas, work closely with our Community Association and other teams to make sure owner issues are handled professionally and efficiently.

· Keep the Campus Event-Ready.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We're looking for someone who is both a leader and a doer.

• 5+ years of hands-on facilities, maintenance, engineering, property, or related experience
• 3+ years of supervisory or management experience
• Experience managing preventative maintenance programs, managing vendors and contractors
• Strong knowledge of building maintenance and facility systems
• Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, grounds, and equipment maintenance.
• Strong organizational and project-management skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong judgment and problem-solving ability.
• Comfort working independently and making decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and facility/work-order systems.

YOU'LL STAND OUT IF YOU HAVE

• CFM, IFMA, or comparable facilities certification
• Experience in hospitality, private clubs, event venues, motorsports, luxury properties, or similarly complex environments.
• A degree in facilities management, engineering, construction management, business, or a related field.

THIS ROLE IS FOR YOU IF...

You walk a property and immediately see what needs attention.

You can talk to the CEO about a capital project in the morning, work with a contractor at noon, help your team troubleshoot an issue in the afternoon, and make sure the property is event-ready that evening.
