Facilities Tech I (Full Time)

Responsibilities:

1. Completes work orders as they come in for issues on property relating to building maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, pool maintenance, and electrical issues.
2. Interacts professionally with guests.
3. Responds to emergencies as requested.
4. Coordinates work with other maintenance personnel.
5. May perform a variety of maintenance tasks, depending upon experience and level of certification.
6. Prepares records related to the work performed and materials and supplies used.
7. Complies with all safety requirements as outlined by OSHA.
8. Must be able to wear a mask while working.
9. Performs other duties as assigned.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

All Employees must be knowledgeable to all Company policies and procedures, including fire and safety regulations.  Regular attendance required.

Education and Experience:

High School diploma or equivalent required. One to three years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Certificates, Licenses, Registration:

Must be able to obtain any required State, County and/or Local licenses/registration, if applicable.

OSHA Certification required.

Language Skills:

Must be able to effectively communicate in English.

Mathematical Skills:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Computer Skills:

Basic computer knowledge preferred.

Reasoning Ability:

Planning, Remembering Details, Using Arithmetic, Reading, Making Decisions, Discriminating colors, Working Rapidly, Working at Various Tempos, Concentrating Amid Distractions, Examining & Observing Details.

Physical Demands:

Standing, Walking, Reaching, Kneeling, Carrying, Pulling, Lifting 50lbs, Sitting, Bending/Stooping, Observing, Stretching, Pushing, Turning, Balancing.

Work Environment:

Inside, Dry Noisy, Heat, Hot, Hazards, High Places, Wet, Outside, Changing Temperatures, Cold, Odors, Dirty, Gloves.
