Job Summary

We are seeking a responsible and hands-on Facility Technician to support the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of facility systems and equipment within our manufacturing site. This role is responsible for monitoring and maintaining critical utilities and facilities systems, responding promptly to operational issues, coordinating maintenance activities, and ensuring minimal disruption to production. The ideal candidate is proactive, safety-conscious, and able to work effectively in a rotating shift environment while collaborating with internal teams and external contractors to maintain smooth facility operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the safe and proper operations of facilities equipment and systems.
• Monitor facilities equipment and systems through FMSCS or equivalent control systems.
• Respond promptly to out-of-specification or abnormal condition affecting production or the site in general.
• Bring out-of-specification or abnormal conditions to relevant parties in a timely manner.
• Restore facilities services quickly to minimize interruptions to production or the site.
• Respond to facilities service requests.
• Support and implement operating procedures and risk assessments for all facilities systems and related work activities.
• Coordinate maintenance or installation activities for operating facilities system and equipment on site.
• Accurately pass down information to personnels of the next shift.
• Complete shift routines and activities.
• Assist in drafting SOPs, Checklists, and daily plant report.
• Follow-up on incidents or service interruptions.
• Coordinate and collaborate with internal and external parties for facilities operation-related activities.
• Prioritize and organize work during shift hours.
• Serve as a member of the ERT (Emergency Response Team)
• Co-Chair Facilities Daily Operation morning meetings/pass-down with Facilities Operations Engineer.
• Perform UPW regan and backwash.
• Complete assigned learning items and training within the stipulated time frame.
• Perform gas cylinder switch over and replace with fresh cylinders.
• Perform chemical drum switch over and replace with fresh drums.
• Chemical & gas logistics support for ordering, collection and hookup.

Job Requirements

• Engineering Diploma in Electronic/Electrical, Mechanical, Controls and instrumentation, or other related fields.
• Faciliar with Microsoft Office applications.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated and able to prioritize work.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Prior facilities experience in advantageous.
• Willing to work any shifts on a rotating schedule.
