Facilities Technician

Facilities Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing specialized beverage and store equipment. They perform preventative maintenance on espresso machines and grinders, diagnose electrical or plumbing faults, and ensure the shop runs smoothly to minimize.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education & Experience: Vocational graduate or technical certification in electronics, mechanics, or a related field (e.g., TESDA NC-II). Typically requires 1 to 3 years of experience in technical and mechanical roles.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in interpreting electrical diagrams, plumbing, and using diagnostic tools.
• Physical Capability: Must be fit, able to lift and move heavy equipment up to 25kg, and comfortable working in confined or hot service spaces.
• Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills, a customer-service mindset for interacting with café staff, and strong remote troubleshooting communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Equipment Maintenance: Execute routine preventative maintenance and calibration checks on commercial coffee machines, blenders, grinders, and HVAC systems.
• Troubleshooting & Repairs: Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and plumbing faults. Disassemble machines, replace faulty parts, and conduct test brews to ensure factory standards are met.
• Installations: Handle the delivery, setup, and programming of new café machinery on-site. CCTV installation
• Staff Training: Provide hands-on training to baristas and café managers on the correct operation, cleaning, and daily care of their equipment.
• Inventory & Documentation: Maintain detailed logs of service histories, update internal work software, and manage inventory for spare parts.
