Facilities Technician (Mechanical)

Facilities Technician (Mechanical) – $22–$24 per hour

Alpha Search Partners is recruiting a Facilities Technician (Mechanical) for a manufacturing client in Conroe, TX 77303. This is an in-person opportunity supporting the maintenance and upkeep of a 19-acre manufacturing facility with approximately 200,000 square feet of manufacturing space.

Reporting to the Facilities Manager, you will troubleshoot equipment and building systems, perform maintenance and repairs, and help keep the facility safe and operating efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Follow established safety procedures, including lockout/tagout (LOTO), job safety analysis (JSA), and permit-to-work requirements.

• Perform routine preventive, predictive, and reactive maintenance on equipment and facility systems.

• Troubleshoot equipment issues and assist with repairs, including electrical and plumbing systems.

• Support equipment installations and complete inspections directed by the Facilities Manager or Supervisor.

• Perform work at heights under the required safety protocols.

• Assist with sea-container loading and unloading and heavy-lift activities.

• Maintain facility grounds and surrounding greenbelt areas.

• Keep shop areas clean and organized and support general housekeeping.

• Complete other duties assigned by the Facilities Manager or Supervisor.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent, or education deemed sufficient by management.

• At least two years of relevant experience, or experience deemed sufficient by management.

• Knowledge of routine preventive, predictive, and reactive maintenance on equipment and facility systems.

• Good English communication skills and familiarity with office software.

• Strong communication, teamwork, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Dependable, cooperative, self-motivated, and willing to learn and share knowledge.

• Professional service orientation and respect for confidentiality.

Physical requirement

• Ability to lift and carry 40 lbs.

Pay: $22–$24 per hour.
