Facilities Technician (Retail)

Job Responsibilities:

• Maintain and support facilities operations across multiple retail outlets and corporate office locations.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance for building facilities, including electrical systems, air-conditioning, plumbing and general M&E works.
• Troubleshoot facility breakdowns and coordinate with contractors/vendors for rectification works.
• Conduct site inspections, safety checks and ensure risk control measures are implemented.
• Manage external contractors to ensure maintenance works are completed according to requirements.
• Investigate facility faults, identify root causes and recommend preventive actions.
• Support installation and maintenance of retail fixtures, lighting panels and promotional display structures.
• Handle maintenance documentation, service records and purchase/service approvals.

Requirements

• NITEC / Higher NITEC in Electrical or related discipline.
• 1–2 years of facilities maintenance experience in commercial, retail or office environments.
• Experience in M&E, electrical troubleshooting, HVAC or building maintenance preferred.
• FSM certification is an added advantage.
• Able to work independently and support occasional after-hours maintenance.
