Facilities/Maintenance Manager

Preciball HPM is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance & Facilities Manager to lead equipment reliability, maintenance, and facility support for our high-precision manufacturing plant in Sylvania, Georgia.

This is a hands-on leadership role with the opportunity to help establish maintenance systems and practices for a growing manufacturing facility. The successful candidate will combine strong industrial troubleshooting experience with the ability to develop people, preventative maintenance programs and long-term equipment reliability. This position reports to the site General Manager.

What You’ll Do

• Coordinate startup, installation, commissioning, and acceptance of new equipment and supporting utilities.
• Manage and prioritize the maintenance team to support manufacturing equipment, facility utilities, building systems, and grounds.
• Develop preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs.
• Support industrial equipment including forming, heat-treatment, grinding, lapping, cleaning and material-handling systems.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and controls-related equipment issues.
• Prioritize breakdown response to minimize production downtime.
• Manage critical spare parts, MRO requirements, maintenance tools and outside contractors.
• Monitor equipment reliability using downtime, MTBF, MTTR and maintenance-cost data.
• Partner with Engineering and Operations on equipment improvements and reliability projects.
• Develop maintenance staffing, training and technical capabilities as the operation grows.
• Ensure appropriate safety practices including lockout/tagout, machine guarding, electrical safety and contractor controls.
• Support and comply with Quality and Environmental Management Systems.
• Participate in Connected Business Model.

What We’re Looking For

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in Industrial Maintenance, Engineering or a related field preferred.
• 7+ years of industrial maintenance experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role preferred.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting capability.
• Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, controls and industrial utility systems.
• Experience supporting heat treatment, grinding, forming, machining, or automated manufacturing equipment preferred.
• Experience developing and managing preventative/predictive maintenance programs.
• Knowledge of CMMS systems, LOTO and industrial machine safety.
• ISO 9001, ISO 14001 or IATF 16949 experience is a plus.
