Facility and Maintenance Specialist

Community Living of Rhode Island (CLRI) is seeking a dependable and skilled Facility Maintenance Specialist to support the maintenance needs of our residential programs.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on electrical experience and the ability to troubleshoot and complete a variety of residential maintenance and repair tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform general maintenance and repairs at CLRI residential programs.
• Troubleshoot and address electrical issues.
• Complete basic plumbing, carpentry, painting, and other general repairs.
• Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance and safety concerns.
• Help ensure residential homes are safe, functional, and well-maintained.
• Work closely with Program Managers and administration regarding maintenance needs.
• Coordinate with outside contractors when specialized repairs are required.

Qualifications:

• Previous facility or residential maintenance experience preferred.
• Electrical experience required.
• Knowledge of basic plumbing, carpentry, painting, and general repairs.
• Ability to troubleshoot problems and work independently.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license preferred.
• Ability to travel between CLRI residential programs as needed.
• Must be dependable, organized, and responsive to maintenance needs.

Pay: From $27.50 per hour
