Facility & Utility Manager

The Facility & Utility Manager role at AMATA City Chonburi focuses on overseeing facilities, utilities, workplace services, and supporting operations within a manufacturing environment. The position plays a key role in ensuring that facility and utility systems meet production requirements while maintaining safety, quality, timely delivery, and cost efficiency. It also leads budget management, supplier coordination, quality-system implementation, and workplace optimisation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple facilities, including operations and maintenance, project management, cleaning and gardening, canteen services, reception, transportation, and subcontractor management
• Manage all facility and utility systems to support production requirements, ensuring timely delivery, safety, quality, and cost efficiency
• Optimise workplace space utilisation to maximise value and productivity for employees
• Oversee vendor and supplier selection, making recommendations based on commercial and technical factors aligned with company needs
• Prepare and manage budgets to ensure efficient and effective use of resources
• Drive the implementation of quality systems, including procedures and work instructions
• Coordinate with all departments to support company development initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, with a master’s degree preferred
• At least 15 years of experience in facilities and utilities, including Occupational Health, Environment, and Safety within a manufacturing environment, preferably in electronics manufacturing
• At least 5 years of experience in a manager-level role
• Strong English communication skills in speaking, reading, and writing
• Japanese-language ability will be an advantage
• Strong analytical thinking, technical expertise, and proven leadership capabilities
