Facility Assistant

Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive and dependable Facility Assistant to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for helping clients of Vector, understanding our operating procedures and ensuring clients follow them, and maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organized environment across our facilities. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will ensure that all areas are properly cared for, contributing to a positive experience for staff and visitors alike. This position offers an exciting opportunity to engage in diverse custodial and maintenance tasks, supporting the smooth operation of our facilities every day.

Responsibilities

• Set up the facility for clients including baseball pitching machines, technology, and equipment related to sports practices
• Help teams and individuals understand where they should be practicing and alerting them when their allotted time is complete
• Perform comprehensive cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal to uphold high sanitation standards.
• Manage our retail store and help sell baseball / softball products as well as sports trading cards
• Maintain facilities by performing routine maintenance, minor repairs, and ensuring all areas are presentable and functional.
• Follow safety procedures diligently during all activities, including chemical handling safety procedures and proper use of cleaning tools.

Skills

• Experience with facilities maintenance tasks, including minor repairs and upkeep of building systems.
• Understanding of baseball equipment including Hack Attack pitching machines, TrackMan, HitTrax technologies
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly approach when interacting with staff or visitors.
• Physical capability for heavy lifting, manual handling, and performing manual labor safely throughout the shift.
• Familiarity with safety protocol adherence related to custodial work, chemical handling, and general maintenance activities.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 – 30.0 per week
