Facility Assistant

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Facility Assistant to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining a safe, clean, and well-functioning environment within our facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing cleaning, sanitation, and basic maintenance tasks, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, and providing excellent customer service. This position requires flexibility to work on weekends and holidays, with a focus on safety and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning duties using appropriate equipment to maintain cleanliness standards throughout the facility.
• Ensure proper sanitation of all areas, following established procedures and safety guidelines.
• Handle chemicals safely in accordance with chemical handling safety procedures.
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols to promote a safe working environment for all staff and visitors.
• Conduct manual handling tasks, including heavy lifting, to support maintenance activities and equipment setup.
• Assist with basic maintenance tasks related to HVAC systems, leveraging HVAC knowledge as needed.
• Maintain equipment in good working condition and report any repairs or safety concerns promptly.
• Support the team during weekends and holidays as required, ensuring continuous facility operations.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and assisting visitors or staff as needed.

Requirements

• Valid CPO (Certified Pool Operator) certification is required.
• CPR certification is necessary for emergency response preparedness.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems is preferred.
• Experience with cleaning equipment, sanitation practices, and chemical handling safety procedures.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting safely.
• Flexibility to work on weekends and holidays is essential.
• Strong attention to detail, safety consciousness, and excellent communication skills are vital for success in this role.
