General

• A. The employee shall keep a daily log of all activities. This log is to be made available to the Owner for review of services upon request.
• B. Floor surfaces – Clean all floor surfaces in a manner resulting in a clean and sanitary surface. Tasks include, but are not limited to the following:
• 1. Vacuuming of carpeted flooring surfaces throughout
• 2. Sweeping and Mopping VCT surfaces throughout
• 3. Sweeping only of the track surface (accessed at the second floor)
• 4. Sweeping only of the gym floor
• 5. Rubber flooring (in stairs) sweep and mop as needed based on utilization at the time of cleaning
• 6. Floor technology including carpet cleaning and floor buffing
• C. General cleaning– The employee is to perform a comprehensive cleaning of all spaces as deemed necessary to result in a clean and healthy environment for all building occupants. Tasks include, but are not limited to the following:
• 1. Cleaning of all accessible window surfaces
• 2. Cleaning of all wood and laminate surfaces utilized by the occupants.
• 3. Removal and placement of all bagged trash in the appropriate bins in the lower parking lot cage by Wednesday evening (for city trash pickup). Note that trash pickup is typically Thursday of every week)
• 4. Organizing and maintaining janitorial closet.
• 5. Coordinating and notifying the Owner when there is a need to order building supplies (toilet paper, napkins, etc.)
• 6. Dusting of all applicable furniture and surfaces including blinds
• D. Restrooms – The employee is to conduct a comprehensive cleaning of all toilet room areas as required to provide clean environment for public use. Duties include, but are not limited to the following:
• 1. Sweeping and mopping of the floor surface
• 2. Cleaning of all plumbing fixtures
• 3. Cleaning of all lavatory millwork
• 4. Cleaning of glass surfaces
• 5. Sanitizing and cleaning of all tile wall surfaces
• 6. Replenishing paper products (paper towels, toilet tissue)
• E. In addition to the general cleaning above, the Contractor is to conduct these particular tasks for the spaces indicated

A1. Sanctuary

• 1. Remove trash from pew areas and in the choir loft
• 2. Sanitize surfaces in high traffic areas (i.e. door handles)
• 3. Sanitize and clean changing rooms and baptismal area (this is particularly pertinent for the week leading up to each first Sunday)
• 4. Vacuum carpeting
• 5. Dust or damp mop parquet flooring (as required) between pews

• 6. Clean interior floor mats and mop flooring in vestibule
• 7. Clean exterior door mat leading into vestibule
• 8. Vacuum floor in Ushers Room

A2. George Cooke Family Life Center

• 1. Clean the pastor’s and church secretary office daily (on assigned days)
• 2. Clean classroom spaces as required based on utilization.
• 3. Clean 2nd floor reception area (see general and floor surface cleaning above) including disposal of old newspapers
• 4. Touch up small marks and nicks on wall surfaces with paint.

A3 Fellowship Hall

• 1. Coordinate with church representative for any setup requirements
• 2. Clean kitchena. Sweeping and mopping of the floor surface.

b. Wipe down of surfaces.

*Cleaning of dishes, utensils, and appliances is the responsibility of the kitchen committee members.

3. Spot paint walls, doors, and door frames, as necessary

A4 Education Building

• 1. Provide cursory cleaning of the restrooms once weekly

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
