Facility Engineer

Lumentum International (Thailand) Co. Ltd. is seeking a Facility Engineer to ensure the optimal operation, maintenance, and reliability of all facility systems and infrastructure. This role is crucial in supporting manufacturing operations and maintaining a safe, efficient, and compliant work environment.

Job Responsibilities

1. Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs of HVAC systems, electrical systems, plumbing, fire suppression systems, and other building infrastructure.

2. Monitor and troubleshoot facility equipment and systems, identifying and resolving issues promptly to minimize downtime.

3. Implement and manage preventative maintenance programs for all facility assets.4.

4. Operate the facility operation to ensure the good energy efficiency and energy saving program

5. Working with Finance team for the forecast spending& electricity consumption, cost allocation and energy saving program

6. Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance, repairs, and projects, ensuring work is completed to specification and safety standards.

7. Assist in the planning and execution of facility expansion, renovation, and improvement projects.

8. Ensure compliance with all local and international health, safety, and environmental regulations and company policies.

9. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment history, and facility documentation.

10. Respond to facility-related emergencies and provide immediate support.

11. Optimize energy consumption and identify opportunities for cost savings in facility operations.

12. Collaborate with production and other departments to understand their facility needs and provide effective support.

    Job Qualifications

13. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

14. Minimum of 5 years of experience in facility engineering or maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

15. Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical distribution, plumbing, and building management systems (BMS).

16. Experience with preventative maintenance programs and troubleshooting facility equipment.

17. Familiarity with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations (e.g., OSHA, local Thai regulations).

18. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.

19. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

20. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal teams and external vendors.

21. Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.

22. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating initiative and a proactive approach.
