Facility Engineer

About the role

A Facility Engineer responsible for the overall maintaining, upgrading and repairing of machinery and equipment in facilities operations.

You will play an important role in:

• Conduct periodic maintenance checks, troubleshooting, investigating equipment breakdowns and monitoring overall performance of equipment
• Prepare preventive maintenance plan, perform predictive and preventive maintenance
• Guide and work closely with production to carry out autonomous maintenance at production lines
• Carry out modification and troubleshooting or diagnosing faults on machines and equipment
• Promptly attend to process equipment and machinery failure for investigation and corrective action to ensure speedy restoration of normal plant production
• Manage and control stocks of equipment and facilities spare parts
• Plan and execute projects as required by other departments or management
• Assist Engineering Manager in monitoring utilities consumption and suggest cost saving measures
• Lead a team of technicians to carry out all facility activities
• Ensure overall compliance with health and safety legislation

To succeed in this role, we will need you to have:

• Possess at least Diploma or Degree in Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of experience related to facilities and equipment maintenance
• Knowledge in building high voltage electrical systems and compressed air
• Knowledge in facility equipment such as air compressor, scrubber system, gas supply, pumps, fire systems
• Knowledge of general working concepts of machinery
• Knowledge in setting up and implementing Preventive Maintenance for machinery and facility equipment
• Understanding of DOE requirement
• Knowledge of WWTP is required
