Facility Maintenance and Building Upkeep

Are you a skilled and motivated individual with a passion for maintaining and enhancing the appearance and functionality of buildings? We are seeking a dedicated Facility Maintenance Specialist to join our team and ensure the impeccable condition of our facilities, both indoors and outdoors.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as HVAC system checks, plumbing repairs, and electrical troubleshooting, to ensure the safety and comfort of occupants.
• Conduct regular inspections of the premises to identify maintenance needs and address them promptly.
• Handle building repairs, including carpentry, painting, and minor renovations.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of all common areas and workspaces.
• Manage landscaping and groundskeeping duties, including lawn care, tree and shrub maintenance, and seasonal planting.
• Monitor and maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper watering and health of plants.
• Collaborate with external contractors when specialized repairs or maintenance are required.
• Keep detailed records of maintenance and repairs performed.
• Implement preventive maintenance measures to extend the life of facilities and equipment.
• Occasionally work on-site and off-site as needed to address maintenance and landscaping tasks.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in facility maintenance, building upkeep.
• Solid knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general repair work.
• Proficiency in using maintenance tools and equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• The ability to perform manual labor as required.
• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications a plus.
