Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced and skilled Facility Maintenance Engineer to oversee and manage day-to-day maintenance activities across our facilities. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in plumbing, carpentry, electrical systems, HVAC/AC, and general building maintenance.

The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all facility systems, equipment, and infrastructure remain safe, functional, and well maintained.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise day-to-day facility maintenance activities.
• Carry out and troubleshoot electrical, plumbing, carpentry, AC/HVAC, and general maintenance works.
• Diagnose maintenance issues and coordinate timely repairs.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of building facilities and equipment.
• Inspect electrical systems, lighting, switches, sockets, DB panels, and related equipment.
• Handle plumbing repairs, including water supply, drainage, pumps, valves, and sanitary fixtures.
• Coordinate and perform basic carpentry and civil maintenance works.
• Maintain and troubleshoot air-conditioning and ventilation systems.
• Coordinate with external contractors and service providers when specialized work is required.
• Maintain maintenance records, checklists, service reports, and inventory of tools and spare parts.
• Ensure all maintenance activities are completed safely and according to required standards.
• Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns and facility-related issues.
• Identify recurring problems and recommend practical solutions to improve facility reliability.
• Ensure proper housekeeping and safety standards within maintenance areas.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Facilities Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant facility maintenance experience.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of:
• Electrical maintenance
• Plumbing and sanitary systems
• Carpentry and basic civil works
• AC/HVAC systems
• General building maintenance
• Ability to independently troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues.
• Experience managing maintenance technicians, contractors, and service providers.
• Good communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and respond to urgent maintenance requirements.
• Knowledge of workplace health and safety practices.

Preferred Candidate

We are looking for someone who is technically strong, hands-on, reliable, and capable of managing multiple maintenance activities simultaneously. Candidates with experience in commercial buildings, residential properties, hotels, offices, retail facilities, or similar environments are preferred.
