P2 Maintenance Services is a growing facility services company serving Maryland, Washington, D.C., and Virginia. We provide customized janitorial, cleaning, floor care, and facility maintenance services with a strong commitment to quality, reliability, safety, and customer satisfaction.

We are seeking an experienced Facility Maintenance Supervisor to oversee employees, assigned buildings, service quality, and customer relationships. The ideal candidate is a hands-on, dependable leader with commercial janitorial or facility maintenance experience who can manage people, inspect work, solve problems, and ensure our customers receive consistent, professional service.

Compensation & Benefits

• Annual Salary: $50,000
• Company Vehicle: Provided for business use; vehicle must be picked up and returned to the P2 office.
• Company Cellphone: Provided.
• Health Insurance: Partial employer-paid health insurance.
• Paid Time Off (PTO): 10 days per year.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise employees and assigned buildings to ensure quality and consistent service.
• Monitor employee attendance, schedules, hours, productivity, uniforms, and overall performance.
• Conduct regular building inspections and ensure work meets P2 and customer standards.
• Identify service deficiencies and ensure corrective actions are completed promptly.
• Train, coach, and support employees in proper cleaning and maintenance procedures.
• Ensure employees follow company policies, customer requirements, and OSHA safety standards.
• Monitor the proper use of cleaning chemicals, equipment, tools, and personal protective equipment.
• Communicate professionally with customers, principals, building managers, and other client representatives.
• Respond promptly to customer concerns and service requests.
• Coordinate staffing and communicate employee or operational needs to management.
• Prepare reports regarding inspections, staffing, service issues, and corrective actions.
• Assist with special projects, deep cleaning, floor care, and other facility maintenance assignments.
• Visit multiple customer locations throughout Maryland, D.C., and Virginia as required.
• Assist management with site visits and basic scope-of-work reviews when needed.

Technical Experience

Experience with the following is preferred:

• Commercial janitorial services
• Carpet cleaning and extraction
• Stripping and waxing
• VCT/LVT floor care
• Machine scrubbing and burnishing
• Basic painting and repairs
• General facility maintenance
• Post-construction cleaning
• Commercial cleaning equipment and chemicals

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous commercial janitorial, facility maintenance, construction, or related experience.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong leadership and employee-management skills.
• Excellent customer-service and communication skills.
• Ability to communicate professionally in English with customers and employees.
• Spanish-speaking ability is a plus.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple locations and priorities.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Ability to travel between customer locations throughout Maryland, D.C., and Virginia.
