Facility Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities:

• Identify and diagnose maintenance concerns reported through the ticketing system and perform the necessary repair services.
• Respond promptly to electrical maintenance requests and address reported issues accordingly.
• Conduct daily roving inspections to identify potential hazards, unsafe conditions, and maintenance concerns, and take appropriate corrective action or report findings to the immediate supervisor.
• Participate in monthly generator set (genset) testing and perform the three-hour draining of emergency lights, as required.
• Update Preventive Maintenance forms and the Facility Maintenance Technician (FMT) logbook to ensure accurate monitoring and documentation of electrical repairs and maintenance activities.
• Assist contractors and service providers during electrical inspections, repairs, and installation works, as assigned.
• Perform utility and general maintenance tasks as needed.
• Carry out other duties that may be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications:

• At least a High School Graduate or College Level.
• Preferably with a TESDA certificate in Electrical Installation and Maintenance and/or Carpentry.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Able to prepare maintenance reports and update maintenance records using a computer.
• Knowledgeable in electrical wiring installation, repair, and maintenance.
• Familiar with electrical panels, circuit breakers, switches, outlets, and lighting fixtures.
• Capable of installing and repairing electrical outlets, plugs, extension cords, and other electrical components.
• Familiar with the proper use of electrical tools and testing equipment, such as multimeters and voltage testers.
• Skilled in troubleshooting electrical faults and circuit problems.
• Knowledgeable in the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), electrical safety procedures, and the safe handling of electrical equipment.
• Able to identify electrical hazards and implement appropriate preventive measures.

Pay: Php19,000.00 - Php21,000.00 per month
