The Opportunity

Are you an established Facility Manager seeking a well-governed care community? Or are you a Senior RN/Clinical Coordinator ready to step up and take permanent executive ownership of a facility?

We are seeking a motivated Facility Manager to lead daily operations across both of our sites. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will take overarching accountability for non-clinical logistics, staff rostering, HR, and procurement. For an experienced manager, this is a chance to operate autonomously within a clear, supportive corporate structure. For an emerging leader, full guidance in business logistics and HR processes will be provided to ensure your successful transition into executive management.

To ensure you retain your clinical expertise and oversight, you will own the facility's Clinical Internal Auditing programme, providing vital quality assurance across the clinical team.

Key Responsibilities

• Operational Command & HR: Take overarching accountability for daily facility logistics, non-clinical compliance, recruitment, onboarding, and first-line staff mediation.
• Rostering & Procurement: Construct balanced, budget-compliant staff rosters and manage routine facility procurement to ensure seamless daily operations.
• Clinical Quality Assurance (Auditing): Retain your clinical edge by leading our internal clinical auditing program—overseeing medication charts, care plans, and nursing practices to ensure overarching health standard compliance.
• Clinical Collaboration & Cover: Share the clinical on-call roster with the Clinical Manager for emergency RN floor cover, and assume interim clinical leadership during scheduled management leave.

About You

• Mandatory: Current, unencumbered New Zealand Registered Nurse (RN) Annual Practising Certificate (APC).
• You have a proven background in healthcare facility management, OR you are an experienced RN/Clinical Coordinator ready for your next definitive career step into overarching operational management.
• You possess a strong aptitude for organisation, rostering, and practical problem-solving.
• You have a firm understanding of clinical auditing, quality assurance, and New Zealand health sector regulations.
• You are a resilient, accountable leader capable of working collaboratively with clinical leadership while confidently managing direct reports across all facility departments.
