Facility Manager

About the role

We are seeking a hands-on Facility Manager to oversee the daily operations, maintenance, and upkeep of our facility. You will serve as the key point of contact between site personnel, contractors, and management, ensuring that the facility operates safely, smoothly, and to a high standard at all times. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who is organised, proactive, and ready to take ownership of operational responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily facility operations including maintenance, cleaning, security, and landscaping activities
• Conduct routine inspections and ensure all facility assets, equipment, and systems are in good working condition
• Manage and liaise with external vendors, contractors, and service providers to ensure SLAs and contractual obligations are met
• Monitor preventive and corrective maintenance schedules; raise work orders and follow through to completion
• Maintain accurate records, logs, and reports (maintenance, incident, attendance, inventory)
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) requirements at all times
• Respond promptly to operational issues, complaints, or emergencies and escalate where necessary
• Support budget tracking, procurement of consumables, and inventory management
• Prepare regular operational reports for management review

About you

• Degree in Facility Management or related fields
• 1–3 years of working experience in facility management, building maintenance, or operations supervision
• Fresh graduates with relevant internship experience are encouraged to apply
• Basic understanding of M&E systems, building maintenance, and HSE practices
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Good communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and comfortable using digital reporting tools
• Willing to work on-site and conduct inspections
• Able to respond to operational needs outside standard hours when required
• Possess own transport and a valid driving licence
