Facility Manager

About the role

As our facilities manager in Amphenol, you'll play a crucial role in overseeing the operational and maintenance needs of the facility. You understand the impact you'll have on ensuring the building's efficient functioning, creating a safe and comfortable work environment for occupants.

Key responsibilities

• Managing and overseeing facilities operations, including preventative maintenance, repairs, building management, procurement, and upgrades
• Responsible for the total plant cleanliness, tidiness and sanitary systems including sub-contractors
• Developing and implementing facility policies, procedures, and standards to ensure that building services and operations run smoothly
• Coordinating with various company departments, vendors, and contractors to ensure the timely completion of projects and hired services
• Conducting regular inspections and assessments to pinpoint any facility issues or potential risks and address them as needed
• Forecasting, budgeting, and financial management of allocated resources, including tracking expenses and negotiating contracts
• Maintain infrastructure building, utility and surrounding good condition with optimize preventive and corrective maintenance
• Responsible for building modification and improvement drawings including all related systems.
• To provide maintain the supply and equipment of electricity, air condition, compressed air, vacuum, water
• Strictly follows safety for management level duties and company regulation
• Construction project management
• Energy saving project management
• ln-charge of the section performance, cost and sub-ordinates

Qualification:

• Bachelor's degree in facilities management, business administration, engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in facilities management.
• Knowledge of building systems, including electrical, AHU, machine layout
• Strong communication skills to interact with employees, vendors and management.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and negotiate with outside vendors for suppliers, repairs and other measures. Facility Managers typically coordinate and oversee activities related to building maintenance, groundskeeping, and workplaces safety.
