Facility Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular building inspections to identify and resolve operational or maintenance issues promptly.
• Oversee preventative and corrective maintenance programs for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and security systems.
• Manage soft services, including housekeeping, pest control, waste management, security, and landscaping.
• Negotiate, manage, and evaluate service level agreements (SLAs) with external vendors and contractors.
• Monitor contractor work quality, safety standards, and adherence to project timelines.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, environmental regulations, and workplace safety standards (e.g., OSHA).
• Prepare, track, and manage annual operational and facility budgets.
• Identify cost-saving initiatives and optimize utility consumption without compromising service quality.
• Lead, train, and supervise on-site facilities staff, technicians, and cleaning crews.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for client requests, tenant feedback, and facility-related emergencies.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or a related field (or equivalent hands-on experience).
• Experience: 3–5+ years of proven experience in facility management, building operations, or property management.
• Soft Skills: Outstanding communication, vendor negotiation, conflict resolution, and leadership skills.
• Software Proficiency: Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
