Home to premier spaces including the Jonathan Toews Sportsplex, Dakota Fieldhouse, and Jumpstart Community Rink & Beach Volleyball Centre, Dakota serves thousands of visitors through year-round programs, events, and amenities.

THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking a proactive, hands-on Facility Manager to lead daily operations, support long-term facility planning, and help ensure our busy multi-use complex remains safe, welcoming, and exceptionally maintained for the community we serve.

What you'll do

• Oversee the daily operation of the physical facility and its staff team
• Manage arena ice maintenance and repair
• Ensure HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, electrical, and maintenance systems are maintained and operational
• Build a preventative maintenance schedule
• Develop and monitor maintenance budget

What you bring

• Manitoba W Class Refrigeration Power Engineer's certificate.
• Manitoba 4th Class Refrigeration (or higher) Power Engineer’s certificate is an asset.
• Class 5 driver's license
• Experience in facility/building management (recreation or municipal preferred)
• Strong understanding of HVAC, ice plant, and general building systems
• Strong people-leadership skills and a solution-focused, collaborative mindset
• Knowledge of workplace health and safety and facility safety standards
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365
• Ability to work extended hours, evenings and weekends as required.

Pay: $55,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
