Facility Manager

SKLD Integrated Services is seeking an experienced and results-driven Facility Manager to oversee the maintenance, security, utilities, and overall operational efficiency of our facilities, warehouses, and retail locations.

Reports to: Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee facility maintenance, preventive maintenance schedules, and essential utilities across company locations.
• Manage energy consumption, generators, solar installations, and utility costs.
• Supervise facility projects, warehouse setups, renovations, and store upgrades.
• Ensure effective security management, access control, and emergency response.
• Manage maintenance vendors, contractors, service agreements, and quality standards.
• Drive compliance with health, safety, environmental, and statutory requirements.
• Manage facility budgets, asset registers, leases, and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Lead and supervise facilities personnel while ensuring timely resolution of maintenance issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or HND in Facilities Management, Engineering, Estate Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in facilities and operations management, preferably across multiple locations.
• Strong knowledge of building maintenance, electrical systems, HVAC, generators, and solar power systems.
• Experience in project management, vendor negotiations, budgeting, and cost control.
• Knowledge of HSE standards, security systems, statutory compliance, and asset management.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, planning, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and facility or asset management systems.

Performance Expectations
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining at least 98% essential utility availability, achieving at least 90% preventive maintenance adherence, and driving operational efficiency and cost optimisation across facilities.
