Facility Managment -System Project Manager

About the role

Samex Systems Limited is seeking an experienced Facility Management System Project Manager to join our growing team. This is a full-time position based in the Kwun Tong District, offering a strategic opportunity to lead and oversee asset management initiatives that drive operational excellence across our organisation.

In this role, you will be responsible for planning, executing and monitoring facility management projects from initiation through to completion. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards. This position is integral to our commitment to optimising asset performance and maximising return on investment across our portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timeline, budget and resource allocation for asset management initiatives
• Lead project teams and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure clear communication and alignment on project objectives
• Monitor project progress against established key performance indicators and manage any deviations through corrective actions
• Manage project budgets, track expenditures and ensure financial governance and compliance
• Identify, assess and mitigate project risks, implementing contingency plans as required
• Prepare regular project status reports and presentations for senior management and key stakeholders
• Ensure all asset management projects comply with relevant policies, procedures and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with operations teams to implement asset management improvements and best practices
• Document project outcomes, lessons learned and recommendations for continuous improvement

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management or related discipline
• Minimum 5 years' experience in project management, ideally within asset management, facilities management or similar infrastructure-related roles
• Professional project management certification such as PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent qualification
• Demonstrated expertise in project planning tools and methodologies, including experience with Microsoft Project or similar software
• Strong understanding of asset lifecycle management, maintenance strategies and capital planning
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously whilst maintaining attention to detail and quality
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to identify process improvements
• Experience with project management software and data analysis tools
• Familiarity with risk management frameworks and financial management principles
• Knowledge of Hong Kong regulatory environment and compliance requirements is advantageous
