Facility Mangement Engineer

Skillcheck :

• Engineering degree in one of the following areas: Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering
• 2 years of experience in technical roles within an industrial environment
• Ability to work independently as well as effectively within a team. -Excellent oral and written communication skills

ChallengeCheck :

1. Site Services Management

• Manage site security, access control, cleaning, and gardening services.
• Monitor service providers’ performance, service quality, and compliance with site procedures.

2. Infrastructure and Utilities Maintenance

• Manage preventive and corrective maintenance of MV supply, transformer substations, LV switchboards (TGBT), Photovoltaic installation, generator sets, compressed air systems, HVAC, and chilled water systems.
• Ensure equipment reliability, availability, regulatory compliance, and energy efficiency

3. Fire Protection

• Ensure maintenance and reliability of fire detection, alarm, and firefighting systems, fire-rated doors, high-speed and sectional doors. Follow up on defects, corrective actions, and insurance audit requirements.

4. Building Renovation and Construction Projects

• Manage building refurbishment, civil works, new construction, extensions, and site development projects.
• Define technical specifications, coordinate contractors, and supervise project execution, ensuring compliance with quality, budget, schedule, and EHS requirements.
• Coordinate project acceptance, handover, and warranty follow-up.

5. Budget and Contract Management

• Prepare and monitor FM OPEX and CAPEX budgets.
• Manage RFQs, tenders, technical and commercial evaluations, and service contracts.
• Monitor costs, contractor performance, and opportunities for optimization

6. EHS, Compliance, and Reporting

• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, internal procedures, and EHS requirements. Coordinate risk assessments, work permits, audits, and corrective actions.
• Maintain technical documentation and report on maintenance performance, infrastructure status, energy consumption, budgets, and project progress.
