Job Description

Sharks Ice San Jose is seeking an experienced and dependable Facility Operations Supervisor to oversee daily facility operations and help maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for guests, athletes, teams, and staff. This role supports facility activities, coordinates operational staff, and responds to maintenance and guest-service needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily facility operations and operational staff.
• Coordinate facility activities, schedules, and event support.
• Monitor ice rink, public areas, equipment, and building conditions.
• Help ensure the facility remains clean, safe, and properly maintained.
• Respond to operational issues and coordinate appropriate solutions.
• Support setup and breakdown for games, practices, tournaments, and events.
• Assist with staff training, scheduling, and performance guidance.
• Communicate with customers, teams, vendors, and internal departments.
• Follow company safety, emergency, and facility procedures.
• Complete operational reports and communicate issues to management.

Requirements

• Previous experience in facility operations, recreation, hospitality, or a related field.
• Supervisory or team-lead experience preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple operational priorities in a busy environment.
• Strong customer-service and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to work in an ice-rink environment and perform routine physical tasks.
