Facility Project Engineer

The Facility Project Engineer will be responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing facility-related projects to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of Lumentum International (Thailand) Co. Ltd.'s facilities, adhering to safety, quality, and budget requirements.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Manage and coordinate facility projects from conception to completion, including scope definition, design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and close-out.
2. Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
3. Prepare detailed project specifications, tender documents, and contracts for external vendors and contractors.
4. Oversee the work of contractors and suppliers, ensuring compliance with project requirements, safety regulations, and quality standards.
5. Conduct regular site inspections and progress meetings, identifying and resolving any issues or delays.
6. Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g., production, EHS, finance) to understand facility needs and ensure project alignment with business objectives.
7. Implement and maintain facility maintenance programs, including preventive and corrective maintenance.
8. Ensure all facility operations and projects comply with relevant local and international regulations, codes, and company policies (e.g., EHS standards).
9. Prepare project reports, presentations, and documentation for management review.
10. Identify opportunities for facility improvements, energy efficiency, and cost reduction.

Job Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 8 years of experience in facility project management, preferably in a manufacturing or high-tech industry.
3. Proven track record of successfully managing complex facility projects.
4. Strong knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
5. Experience with project management software and tools.
6. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
8. Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
9. PMP certification or equivalent is a plus.
