Facility Security Officer

As the Facility Security Officer you will manage and initiate personnel clearances and process visit access requests (VARs) within the Defense Information System for Security (DISS-soon to transition to NBIS)., work directly with Contracting Officer (COR) and other Trusted Agents to process initial/modify/renew of Common Access Card (CAC) requests, and SCI Nominations, provide, develop, and manage initial and refresher security training/newsletters/briefings/debriefings (SF-312, NATO, COMSEC, Initial, Insider, Annual, etc..), develop, and Manage Prime and Sub-Contract DD-254’s, serve as a main participant in DCSA Security Vulnerability Assessments (SVA) and Continuous Monitoring (CM) engagements, conduct periodic self-inspections of division security program in accordance with the NISPOM (32 CFR part 117) and company policies, manage and maintain facility access control, including distributing ID badges and access cards, assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of security related policies, strategies, procedures, and objectives, accurately track incoming/outgoing classified documents, media and hardware, investigate report, and document security violations, assist the Senior Management Official (SMO), assist the ISSO to achieve NIST and CMMC 2.0 compliance, local Escort duties as required, adapt to changes in the work environment and maintain a professional demeanor., Maintain advanced knowledge of using NBIS, DISS, ACCS, and NISS, working knowledge of the National Industrial Security Program (NISPOM) and Department of Defense regulations, maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism, work with a sense of urgency, integrity, and ethics.   Serves as the Insider Threat Senior Program Manager.  Serves as Special Activities Action Officer.
