About the role

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Facility Technician to join our operations team at our Rosario Cavite facility. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in ensuring our manufacturing and assembly operations run smoothly and efficiently. As a Facility Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and supporting the technical projects that keeps our production environment operating at peak performance. This role is essential to our operational success and offers the opportunity to work with modern manufacturing equipment in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and preventative care on manufacturing equipment, machinery, and facility systems
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and identify technical issues to minimize downtime and production delays
• Carry out repairs and replacements of faulty components, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards
• Support assembly and process operations by ensuring all facility systems are functioning optimally
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment, utilities, and facility infrastructure to identify potential problems
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations within the facility
• Collaborate with production teams to coordinate maintenance schedules and minimize operational disruption
• Respond promptly to urgent maintenance requests and facility issues
• Assist in the setup and calibration of equipment as required for production operations

What we're looking for

• Proven experience working as a Facility Technician, Maintenance Technician, or in a similar technical role within a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, electrical components, and industrial machinery operation
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
• Solid knowledge of preventative and corrective maintenance practices
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and maintenance documentation
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high safety and quality standards
• Good communication skills and the ability to document work clearly and concisely
• Physical capability to perform manual tasks, including lifting, climbing, and working in various facility environments
• Valid driver's licence would be advantageous
• Relevant technical certifications or qualifications in maintenance, electrical work, or mechanical engineering are preferred
