Facility Technician

Facility Technician — Austin Metro | $23–$28/hr (1099) | ~20 hrs/week

Keep Austin-area facilities and electro-mechanical systems running. We’re hiring an intermediate Facility Technician for about 20 hours per week to cover two facility locations in the Austin metro (one location per day — not a multi-stop route).

Schedule: typically Monday and Tuesday; days can vary during the work week if needed.

You’ll

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues at the assigned facility sites
• Run preventive maintenance and respond to service needs at those locations
• Handle light landscaping / grounds touch-ups and light exterior work (not a full landscape-crew role)
• Document work clearly and communicate with customers and our team
• Report to one of two assigned locations each workday (valid driver’s license required)

You bring

• Intermediate MEP experience (facilities / service tech level)
• Ability to work at assigned Austin-metro sites with reliable transportation and a valid DL
• Comfort combining light grounds/exterior touch-ups with MEP service work
• Solid diagnostics, safety habits, and customer-facing professionalism
