Factory Director

Qualifications:

- Academic qualification: Bachelor' s degree or above in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automation, Production Management, or related fields.

- Experience: with 10+ years of experience in factory operations or manufacturing management, including at least 5 years in a management role; prior management experience in a factory in Vietnam is preferred.

- Language proficiency: fluent in Chinese/English or English/Vietnamese; trilingual communication ability across all three languages is highly preferred.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Manufacturing Coordination & Operations Management

- To plan and execute production strategies to ensure output schedules, quality standards, and delivery deadlines are met.

- To collaborate closely with managers at the Huizhou facility to align resources, maintain consistent operating standards, and ensure on-time delivery.

- To partner with Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering, and Sales teams to resolve cross-departmental manufacturing issues.

- To oversee daily production processes and implement continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Lean, 5S, TPS).

2. Resource Integration & Efficiency Improvement

- To build effective teamwork and optimize the allocation of workforce, equipment, and raw materials to boost production efficiency and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) / equipment utilization.

- To perform employee training and cross-functional collaboration to enhance team execution and problem-solving agility.

- To analyze production capacity and bottlenecks to provide actionable solutions and resource-dispatch recommendations.

3. Cost Control & Performance Management

- To create and implement cost-control strategies to achieve target budgets.

- To monitor plant KPIs (such as yield rates, capacity, First Pass Yield [FPY], etc.) and develop continuous improvement action plans.

- To periodically review performance outcomes, standardizing operating procedures (SOPs) and implementing best practices.

4. Upward Reporting & Communication

- To regularly report factory operational status, production abnormalities, and project progress to the General Manager.

- To participate in executive management meetings, providing strategic recommendations and risk assessments.

- To prepare operational reports and analytical data to support executive decision-making.

5. Other Assigned Tasks

- To carry out special assignments and project management duties assigned by the General Manager.

- To represent the company in liaising and coordinating with local government agencies, labor unions, and external organizations.
