Factory Head

Looking for an experienced and responsible Factory Head to oversee day-to-day factory operations, ensuring efficient production, effective inventory management, consistent product quality and smooth coordination across the workforce.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on manufacturing experience, sound managerial abilities and the capability to lead factory operations independently.

Key Responsibilities

1. Production Management

• Plan, supervise and monitor daily production activities to achieve production targets.

• Ensure optimum utilisation of manpower, raw materials, machinery and other resources.

• Monitor production schedules and minimise downtime, wastage and operational inefficiencies.

• Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures and workplace safety practices.

2. Inventory & Stock Management

• Maintain accurate records of raw materials, finished goods and packaging materials.

• Monitor stock levels and coordinate timely procurement of materials.

• Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile discrepancies.

• Minimise material wastage, pilferage and unnecessary inventory holding.

3. Quality Management & Control

• Ensure consistent product quality at every stage of manufacturing.

• Monitor quality parameters for raw materials, in-process production and finished products.

• Identify quality issues, investigate their causes and implement corrective measures.

• Maintain quality records and ensure compliance with established quality standards.

4. Workforce & Team Management

• Supervise factory workers, operators and supporting staff.

• Allocate duties, monitor performance and ensure workforce discipline.

• Maintain effective coordination between production, stores, quality and dispatch teams.

• Resolve shop-floor issues through effective communication and problem-solving.

5. Factory Operations & Reporting

• Monitor daily factory performance and report production, inventory and quality status to management.

• Ensure proper maintenance and upkeep of machinery, equipment and the factory premises.

• Identify opportunities to improve productivity, reduce costs and streamline processes.

• Ensure compliance with applicable safety procedures and factory regulations.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month

Experience:
