FACTORY MANAGER

The Factory Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire production process of powder coating products, ensuring quality, efficiency, safety, and compliance with industry standards.

The manager will lead a team of production & QC staff, implement best practices, and optimize processes to meet production targets, cost-effectiveness, and customer satisfaction.

Job Responsibilities:

a) Oversee the daily operations of the manufacturing facility, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.

b) Oversee the production plans and schedules to meet customers order and timeline.

c) Lead and motivate a team of Production Supervisors, Technicians & Operators.

d) Lead & Oversee production performance to includes - cost control, process improvements, optimize manufacturing processes and increase productivity.

e) Oversee the quality control (QC) team to inspect raw materials, in-process products, and finished items to detect defects or deviations from standards.

f) Ensure the proper functioning all manufacturing equipment, implement a preventative maintenance schedule to minimize unplanned downtime.

g) Enforce a strict safety culture and ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.

h) Maintain comprehensive records of production performance, quality inspections, equipment maintenance, safety audits, and inventory levels.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Industrial Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 5-7 years of experience in manufacturing management.
• Knowledge in quality control methods, health and safety standards, and environmental regulations in the manufacturing industry.
• Proven track record of successful manufacturing operations management.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with various departments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge in powder coating materials, equipment, and manufacturing will be added advantage.
