What they need
About the role
Fully responsible for overall plant operation to achieve productivity, quality and cost control objectives.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct daily and weekly meetings with all departmental heads and set objectives for them to move forward
- Interface closely with all departmental personnel to ensure very good commitment to teamwork
- Enforce departmental performance reports and display charts
- Review and implement optimum production control and painting processes
- Ensure manpower utilization through planning, organizing and scheduling to minimize loss of time and work within the capital and operating budget
- Monitor and coordinate quality related issues between suppliers, customers and Combat
- Drive continuous plant improvement and cost reduction activities
- Manage Total Quality Program including charting strategic quality initiatives, establish quality systems, and ensure plant effective quality performance and audit quality performance/systems
- Oversee the maintenance of QMS in documentation control system
- Ensure safety rules and housekeeping (5S) is practiced at all times
About you
- Management Representative of QMS such as ISO 9001:2015, IATF16949
