FACTORY MANAGER

About the role

Lead and manage all Plastic Injection Molding production activities to ensure production targets are achieved. This role requires expertise in plastic injection molding processes, machine operation, and production management across large-scale manufacturing environments.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage all Plastic Injection Molding production activities to ensure production targets are achieved
• Develop and control production plans based on targets, machine capacity, workforce, materials, and customer requirements
• Ensure production processes comply with Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Productivity (SQCDP) standards
• Monitor achievement of production targets, machine efficiency, workforce productivity, cycle time, and material usage
• Ensure product quality meets customer standards and specifications
• Monitor machine utilization, downtime, reject rate, productivity, and OEE
• Identify production problems and lead root cause analysis and corrective action processes
• Optimize utilization of machines, workforce, materials, and production resources
• Apply Lean Manufacturing principles including 5S and reduce raw material waste or scrap
• Supervise operators and technicians, enforce work discipline, and ensure occupational safety and health standards are followed

About you

• Bachelor's degree (S1) in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related engineering field
• Minimum 5 years of work experience in plastic manufacturing industry
• Minimum 2 to 3 years in managerial position (Factory Manager, Production Manager, or Assistant Factory Manager) specifically in plastic injection molding facilities
• Understanding of Plastic Injection Molding processes including machine setup, molding process, cycle time, BOM, injection parameters, and troubleshooting
• Experience with machines with capacity 1800-2500 TON
• Understanding of OEE, productivity, efficiency, downtime, reject rate, and continuous improvement concepts
• Problem-solving and root cause analysis capabilities including 5 Why, Fishbone, and related methods
• Leadership capability and experience managing large-scale production teams
• Ability to work with strict targets and strong orientation toward Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Productivity aspects
• Strong communication, coordination, analysis, and decision-making capabilities
• Technical expertise in understanding characteristics of various plastic resins (such as PP, PE, ABS, PS, PC) and operation of machines and supporting equipment such as chillers and auto-loaders
• We prioritize proficiency in Korean, Chinese, and English.
