Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Factory Operations Manager with strong hands-on vegetable processing experience to lead and manage overall factory operations.

About the Role

We are looking for a highly experienced, hands-on Factory Operations Manager who can independently oversee the overall daily operations of our vegetable processing factory.

The ideal candidate must have extensive practical experience in vegetable processing, strong leadership skills, and the ability to manage production efficiency, manpower, product quality, wastage, and operational costs.

Key Responsibilities

• Take full responsibility for the overall daily operations and management of the vegetable processing factory.
• Oversee all production activities, including vegetable receiving, cutting, peeling, washing, sorting, processing, and packing.
• Plan, organize, and monitor daily production schedules to ensure customer orders are completed accurately and on time.
• Lead, supervise, and manage production supervisors, team leaders, and factory workers.
• Monitor production output, productivity, manpower efficiency, and daily operational performance.
• Control raw material usage, vegetable wastage, labour costs, and production expenses.
• Identify production bottlenecks and implement improvements to increase efficiency and reduce operating costs.
• Ensure proper manpower planning, staff allocation, training, discipline, and performance management.
• Establish, implement, and continuously improve factory Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, GMP, HACCP, and quality control requirements.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth daily factory operations.
• Resolve daily production and operational issues independently.
• Prepare operational reports and report directly to Management.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in vegetable processing or fresh-cut vegetable production.
• Strong practical knowledge of vegetable cutting, peeling, washing, sorting, processing, and packing operations.
• Previous experience as a Factory Manager, Operations Manager, Production Manager, or Assistant Manager is preferred.
• Proven ability to independently manage factory operations and production teams.
• Strong experience in manpower management, production planning, cost control, and wastage reduction.
• Good understanding of food safety, GMP, HACCP, and factory hygiene standards.
• Strong leadership, decision-making, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Able to work under pressure and manage a fast-paced production environment.
• Hands-on, responsible, disciplined, and results-oriented.

Important

Direct hands-on experience in vegetable processing is essential.

Candidates with only general manufacturing or unrelated factory management experience may not be suitable for this position.
