Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and control overall factory operations during the assigned shift.
• Ensure smooth and uninterrupted production activities according to the daily production plan.
• Allocate manpower and assign duties to operators, helpers, technicians, and other shift employees.
• Monitor production quantity, quality, machine performance, wastage, and downtime.
• Ensure that production targets are achieved within the scheduled time.
• Coordinate with Production, Maintenance, Quality Control, Store, Electrical, Security, and HR/Admin departments.
• Immediately report any machine breakdown, production stoppage, safety issue, quality problem, or manpower shortage to management.
• Ensure proper use and availability of raw materials, packaging materials, tools, and other production inputs.
• Maintain proper shift-wise production records, attendance, machine downtime, wastage, and other operational reports.
• Ensure employees follow all company rules, SOPs, safety procedures, and work instructions.
• Monitor worker discipline, attendance, punctuality, and workplace behavior during the shift.
• Ensure proper housekeeping, cleanliness, and 5S practices throughout the factory area.
• Monitor compliance with fire safety, PPE, occupational health and safety requirements.
• Check the factory and machinery at the beginning and end of each shift and ensure proper handover/takeover between shifts.
• Take immediate action during emergency situations, including fire, accident, power failure, machine breakdown, or other operational disruptions.
• Coordinate with the Maintenance team for preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Monitor product quality and ensure that defective or non-conforming products are properly identified and reported.
• Identify operational problems and provide practical solutions to reduce downtime, wastage, and production losses.
• Prepare and submit a daily/shift-wise operational report to the Factory Manager/Production Manager.
• Perform any other duties assigned by Factory Management.

• Experience: 4-8 years
