Location: Ogba/Omole, Lagos
Salary: ₦110,000 per month
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday

Job Description

We are seeking a responsible and experienced Factory Supervisor to oversee daily production activities and ensure that operations run efficiently, safely, and according to established standards.

The successful candidate will supervise factory workers, monitor production processes, maintain quality standards, and ensure that production targets are achieved.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily factory operations and production activities.
• Assign tasks to factory workers and monitor their performance.
• Ensure production targets and schedules are achieved.
• Monitor the production process to ensure products meet required quality standards.
• Ensure proper use and handling of production materials, equipment, and tools.
• Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and production supplies.
• Report equipment faults, production issues, and other operational challenges to management.
• Ensure the factory environment is clean, organized, and safe.
• Enforce workplace safety procedures and company policies.
• Maintain accurate records of production activities, materials used, and output.
• Identify operational inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth production operations.
• Monitor staff attendance, punctuality, and compliance with work procedures.
• Prepare regular production and operational reports for management.

Requirements

• HND, or Bachelor’s degree in Production Management, Engineering, Food Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a factory, manufacturing, or production environment.
• Previous supervisory or team-leadership experience is an advantage.
• Good understanding of production processes and quality control.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to supervise and motivate a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet production deadlines.
• Must be responsible, attentive to detail, and result-oriented.
