Factory Supervisor

Job Summary:The Marble Factory Foreman / Supervisor is responsible for supervising the daily production and fabrication activities of marble, granite, limestone, travertine, and other natural stone materials. The position ensures that production is completed according to approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project requirements while maintaining productivity, safety, and proper coordination between the factory and project teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage daily factory production and fabrication activities.
• Allocate tasks to workers, machine operators, polishers, cutters, and installers as required.
• Review shop drawings, cutting lists, templates, and production requirements before fabrication.
• Ensure accurate cutting, edge profiling, polishing, CNC processing, drilling, grooving, and other required stone works.
• Monitor production progress and ensure materials are completed according to the project schedule.
• Check dimensions, thicknesses, finishes, colors, veining, bookmatching, and overall workmanship.
• Ensure fabricated marble and stone pieces comply with approved drawings and project specifications.
• Coordinate with the Project Engineer, Site Supervisor, Quantity Surveyor, and Factory Manager regarding production requirements and priorities.
• Identify and report material defects, fabrication issues, wastage, and production delays.
• Monitor material usage and minimize unnecessary wastage.
• Ensure proper identification, labeling, packing, and protection of completed stone pieces before dispatch.
• Coordinate loading and delivery of finished materials to project sites.
• Maintain proper housekeeping and organization within the factory.
• Ensure workers follow company health and safety procedures.
• Monitor machine and equipment usage and report maintenance requirements.
• Train and guide workers on proper fabrication methods and quality requirements.
• Maintain daily production records and report progress to management.
• Assist in resolving technical and production-related problems.
• Coordinate urgent and priority production requirements with the factory team.
• Ensure that all completed works are ready for inspection and delivery according to project requirements.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in marble, granite, or natural stone fabrication.
• Strong knowledge of marble and stone cutting, polishing, edge profiling, CNC, and fabrication processes.
• Ability to read and understand shop drawings and cutting details.
• Experience supervising factory workers and production teams.
• Good understanding of natural stone types, finishes, thicknesses, and fabrication methods.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
• Good communication and team-management skills.
• Knowledge of UAE construction and marble industry practices is preferred.

Pay: AED1.00 - AED2.00 per month
