Factory Supervisor

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Supervisor to oversee daily manufacturing operations involving metal sheet production and fabrication processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising production personnel, ensuring product quality, maintaining workplace safety, and achieving production targets while optimizing operational efficiency.

The ideal candidate must possess an engineering background and practical experience in sheet metal manufacturing, production processes, and shop-floor supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to ensure timely completion of production schedules and targets.
• Oversee metal sheet production and fabrication processes, including cutting, bending, shearing, punching, forming, and other related operations.
• Monitor production performance, manpower allocation, machine utilization, and material consumption.
• Ensure products comply with approved drawings, technical specifications, quality standards, and customer requirements.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, fabrication drawings, and technical documents.
• Coordinate with the Engineering, Quality Control, Maintenance, and Warehouse departments to resolve production issues.
• Identify production bottlenecks, minimize material wastage, and implement process improvements.
• Ensure proper operation and routine inspection of production machinery and equipment, coordinating maintenance when required.
• Enforce workplace safety procedures, proper equipment handling, and housekeeping standards.
• Supervise, train, and evaluate production workers to maintain productivity, discipline, and work quality.
• Prepare daily production reports and maintain accurate records of output, defects, downtime, and material usage.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Certificate/diploma in Mechanical , Structural, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical/engineering discipline.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in metal sheet production, sheet metal fabrication, or a similar manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience in supervising production teams and managing shop-floor operations.
• Strong knowledge of metal sheet processing techniques, production machinery, and fabrication methods.
• Ability to read and interpret technical and engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of quality control procedures, production planning, and workplace health and safety requirements.
• Good leadership, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office & Excel.
• Candidates with experience in metal fabrication or industrial manufacturing companies will be highly preferred.
• Transferrable residency permit
